Baby Food Storage
Baby Cutlery and Storage, that contains Bisphenol A (BPA), has become a very hot topic of late – over and above baby bottles in some cases. Not only does BPA leach out into baby bottles when they are heated, it may also leach out into food when stored in containers that are made from polycarbonate plastic.
This form of BPA leaching, in some ways, can be even more toxic than BPA leaching out into baby bottles as the food may have been stored in the plastic container, in the freezer, for some months. Once thawed, food in these types of plastic baby food containers is often heated in the microwave.

Baby Cutlery may also have similar leaching properties as baby bottle and baby storage containers that are not BPA free. Every time your baby puts a plastic fork or spoon into its mouth there is a heating process going on as the mouth, there is also heat coming out of the food which is again heating the plastic baby fork or spoon.
